02 / OUR STORY

It began with
a conversation.
Then we gathered.

Gonga began in radio, with the idea of bringing people together. The events gave that connection a place to happen.

Neema Warrakah and Khadija Kajembe have organised Swahili Night, Rich Aunties, Swahili Day at the Beach and traditional celebrations in Kenya. Gonga.A Events brings those experiences into a shared identity.

Our roots are in Kenya. Our next chapter looks towards Germany and the communities that carry African culture with them.

“Come dressed for the occasion.
Leave with stories to tell.”

Karibu tusherehekee. Come, let’s celebrate.

Beyond
the occasion.

Stories, humour and culture to keep the conversation going.

Gonga.A Media is our developing home for African infotainment, Swahili humour and selected news. AI presenters will be identified clearly, with human editorial review behind factual content.
